FAM Trips - Destination Jersey

Discovery Day Experiences

We invite you to explore an island of rediscovery with three of Jersey’s unique experiences, giving you a flavour of what your clients can expect and to help you find inspiration when planning their perfect island break. Jersey is an island that's small on size, but big on personality, where country lanes open to cliff top views and the sea is never more than ten minutes away. It’s a place that can’t be boiled down to a single experience – it’s not a city break, or a country break, or a beach break. Jersey is all these things and more.

There will be three different options to choose from with limited spaces on each based on a first come, first served basis. You will have the opportunity to pick your preferred experience when you are granted access to your account to arrange your meetings and organise your schedule.

little wonders, big smiles

Explore Jersey's spectacular south coast on a ‘Liberation Seafari’ RIB ride with your very own Jersey War Tour Guide. Join one of Jersey’s best military history storytellers together with the island’s popular RIB operator and you’ll find yourself exploring Jersey's spectacular south coast from the water, listening to true tales about the Occupation and Liberation of Jersey in WWII. This new collaboration by Jersey Seafaris and Jersey War Tours is a trip not to be missed, your guide will aim to help you understand the history of the D-Day invasion and will provide insight into what actually went on in the island during this time.

After your history and adrenaline fix, it’s time to head to Jersey’s new distillery at Channel Island Liquor Company for a Jersey tipple. Perched on a pier in St. Helier Harbour, learn all about the distilling process and what goes into making these local spirits before trying their range of hand-crafted botanical gins and Indica plant blended rum.

*There are a maximum of 12 places on this trip due to the size of the RIB, bookings will be taken on a first come first served basis.  Please wear warm clothing and flat shoes for walking, life jackets and windproof jackets are provided.

*Pick up from your hotel at approx. 08:15 and tour ending at 11:30, this allows enough time for any of those needing to be at the airport for 12:00, drop off at airport or St. Helier.

little island, big treasures

Discover one of the many treasures in Jersey by joining the Pick-a-Pearl experience at Jersey Pearl, a family run business with an eco-conscience based in the stunning St. Ouen’s Bay.  Enjoy the fun of picking your own oyster and finding an Akoya pearl within. This intriguing experience will give you the unique opportunity to see an oyster shell being opened to reveal your very own pearl.

After walking away with your Jersey treasure, it’s time to join the Jersey Walk Adventure team on a tidal foraging tour where you will discover what you can forage from the sea and share stories of the 19th century Oyster fishing, Jersey’s gold rush.

Finish your foraging walk at Faulkner Fisheries, an old WW2 bunker serving the freshest of seafood.  Taste our very own Jersey Oysters with a spectacular view overlooking St. Ouen’s Bay before heading off to the airport.
